How to install Metamask for PC and create a wallet

Metamask is an application that supports Ethereum and is an extension optimized for Chrome browsers. Wallet creation, swap, transfer, etc. can be very convenient. Introducing how to install Metamask and create a wallet in Chrome based on PC.

Install Metamask for PC

1. From Chrome, go to https://metamask.io/ and connect it

2. Click the ‘Download now’ button.

3. Select Chrome for PC and click ‘Install MetaMask for Chrome’. (Currently, Metamask also supports mobile version. It also supports other browsers below.)

As shown in the image above, the choices are Chrome, Ios, or Android. Select ‘Chrome’ in order to use the Chrome PC version. Click ‘Install MetaMask for Chrome’ below.

4. In the Chrome Web Store, click the ‘Add to Chrome’ button.

Click ‘Add Extension’ in the pop-up window to complete the installation.

5. Click ‘Get Started’ when the installation is complete.

6. Try connecting via the ‘Import Account’ and ‘Create Account’ selections. (If you have an existing wallet, click ‘ Import Account’ and if you don’t have one, click ‘ Create Account’.)

Easily create wallets

1. Click ‘Create a Wallet’ in the image above.

2. Click the ‘I agree’ button to proceed.

3. Generate a password. Type 2 and click Create.

4. When a secret backup phrase appears, keep 12 words of mnemonic separately. (The 12 words must be kept well because they are private keys that can recover the wallet.)

5. Confidential Backup Verification If you select the 12 words that were created in order, wallet creation is complete.

Wallet generation is complete.
